I bought this to use in my living room, since I'm in a one-bedroom half house and my son has the bedroom. It's bigger than I thought it would be, but it can be stored easily. It's basically memory foam in a zip-up, washable casing. The case is like a very airy mesh material. I laid on it alone, and it would be sufficient to use solo. I like a pillow top, however, so I put one of the roll-up Japanese futons on top of it, and it's basically a VERY comfortable pillow top bed that sits on the floor and I can put away when I want my living room to actually function as a living room.

This mattress is great. We bought it so that we could sleep in the basement when it was just too hot upstairs. It has also worked well as an extra mattress for guests. It took a little bit of getting used to the first few nights because it doesn't have as much 'give' as my regular mattress. One thing I would really like to see is a vacuum bag that fits the mattress so that I can store it easily and keep it clean.

The size is accurate to the product description. I got this as my permanent sleeping solution since it folds up and I don't like that traditional beds take up so much space. It is very comfortable, a nice balances between soft and firm. You don't sink through or feel the floor at all. The material is very scratchy. At first I liked the texture since it is almost pleasantly rough like a woven blanket. When sleeping or sitting on it for long periods, especially when it is hot, the texture of the fabrics starts to feel VERY abrasive. I plan to go to the fabric store to get something to lay over the cover.

Mattress is very firm so I placed a 1″ memory foam topper on it. It works great with it. Since this is a twin XL; having the two smaller sections allowed me to fold one so that the mattress would fit on a regular twin loft bed.

It's very comfortable for sleeping. It's a little too low to the ground to be used as a chair.

After all my research about getting a bed for our guess I ended up buying this one, it is so confortable that I'm thinking in buying another one for my daughter's bedroom.

Bought these for guests, so much better than air mattresses. Absolutely NO worries! A little heavier than I expected, but worth it. The grandchildren love them. (Bought two). THANK YOU!

Expanded to near full thickness and sturdiness within a couple hours for me. Slept on it 4 hours after opening. By the next night it was perfect. I am 6 foot tall and 175 lbs. I barely make a dent in the mattress, only if i put all my weight on a knee or standing on it, do i sink deep.to the floor.

We were considering a futon but glad we got this instead. Its a pretty thick mattress but found putting a comforter on top made it even better. Would definitely recommend it. Not a great couch – maybe for kids as it is very low to the ground.
Hey Dj –
Everything about it was as expected, except it is definitely not memory foam. It is just foam. Memory foam is very dense and you push into it and it leaves an impression that takes a little while to disappear. This doesn't do that, at all

This is bigger than I thought it would be. It is very comfortable and the grand kids love to use it as a couch/bed. I don't think it would be very comfortable for a full size adult to sit on but it is very comfortable for an adult to sleep on or lay on to watch TV. Slips under bed for easy storage. Cover wipes up well. We have not washed it yet.

Arrived on time. Now I car camp like a queen (size mattress). It's not small, nor light; it's all of every inch of queen sized mattress, as advertised, plan on this for storage your storage needs. Love it though.

Arrived very promptly. I love the size and firmness of the mattress for my guests. However, I don't know how there could be noticeable spot stains on a brand new mattress! Since it's impossible to roll it up and put it back into a normal packaging for me to send it back, can the company inform me what that stain might be (maybe cleaning solutions?) and how to get rid of them?

Comfortable and versatileI was looking for a comfortable and versatile guest bed and this fits the bill! I wanted something my toddler could play on, he LOVES it. Great little couch for reading stories together and he loves climbing on it. It's the perfect balance of softness and firmness for a guest bed, in my opinion. I realized after the fact that it'll also be perfect to take camping with us. I love that it has a removable cover, but it's not as useful as I'd hoped because it's very porous, very susceptible to toddler spills. It's not that big of a deal though, I just bought a zippered waterproof mattress cover for it.

Versatile, convenient, kids love it for reading and sleepovers.Pros: – The mesh cover is breathable, machine washable, thick and seems like good quality.
– We primarily use it as a sofa for bedtime stories. My 4 year-old loves to sleep on it as a mattress when his bedroom is used for guests. It'll also be great for sleepovers, which we host very often. I figure we can also use it in our van for camping. This size is perfect for 2 kids or 1 adult + 1 kid.
– No need for pumping and worrying about deflating over the night like air mattresses, which are also hard to keep completely clean.
Cons: – The mesh is rough on my skin, I still need to use a fitted sheet. The zippers are small and somewhat hard to pull; I have to be careful zipping so I don't break them.
– The mattress is very firm, so much that it is uncomfortable to sleep on. I like firm mattresses, but this has been hard for me to sleep on my side.
– The inner white cover of the mattress is very thin and may rip off easily if you're not careful with the zippers. In fact, when I closed one of the zippers 48 hours after opening the box, I noticed a small spot of a quarter size that had gotten damaged and wrinkled at some time during manufacturing.
For the price I was expecting something of slightly better quality and easier to sleep on, but I loves the versatility and portability of this sofa/mattress. It's just much better then air mattresses- I had to return one because of deflating issues and another one because it got dirty too easily.

I've had one for seven years and love it !We bought this to put in our old conversion van for camping, also have used it as a guest bed, and also as a temporary bed for are 280 lb son-in-law. (I weigh 130# and my 70yr old husband is 180#) We all agree that it's extremely comfortable! This mattress is NOT memory foam, it is conventional, firm, foam . It does have a textured surface. We would definately buy this again. And, it's Made in America!

ComfortableVery comfortable and no problems sleeping on it all night. It is firm enough to support my back issues. and roomy enough for my husband and dog to join me.

Comfortable and fits the travel trailerWe have a Murphy bed in the travel trailer and the trifold works perfect. The memory foam makes it comfortable. The only thing that I would add is a carry bag and handles/straps to pull the mattress out in tight quarters.

comfortablethis is actually very comfortable, the fabric is a bit scratchy so I use a sheet on it but I had planned on using one with it anyway. It is way more comfortable than my futon
